aucblogo-4.8-windows-debug.zip is the latest (not yet stable) debug version of aUCBLogo-4.8. If it does not run, you may need the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Runtime Libraries: vcredist_x86.exe. Compilation of simple functions is now supported, but this is still very early in development: only global variables can be compiled. The compiled code might be a few times faster than the interpreted code. This version does now use Unicode as chars, so interface & Logo language can be localized to any language which can be displayed with Unicode, including Chinese, thanks to Chao Wei Lun! Bertrand Carette has written the French localization of the GUI. The French set of primitives is just what Google translated, it's not yet corrected manually. Localization can be done by using the free program poEdit, which is used to edit the .po files (one is in aucblogo/de). Mesa_OpenGL_driver.zip contains the Mesa software-only OpenGL driver DLLs, which one may need, if one's OpenGL drivers with hardware rendering are buggy. Simply copy the DLLs to your aUCBLogo folder (where the aucblogo.exe is). |
